The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) highly appreciated and expressed thanks to the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority ( SMEDA) for the SME Expo 26 at Lahore and said it provided an opportunity to the SMEs to exhibit their wares to the business community and also consumers to witness the goods made in Pakistan.
President UNISAME congratulated Nadia Jehangir Seth chief executive officer (CEO) for an excellent exposure and show casing a gallery of SME wares.
Thaver urged the CEO to hold such exhibitions in Dubai , Qatar, Riyadh in the middle east and Gulf and also in European countries like U.K. Spain, Portugal and others to enable the SMEs to enter these markets.
Secondly he also urged her to conduct classes to educate the sector on branding, packaging and marketing. It is also worthwhile for the SMEs to learn how to use Artificial Intelligence for various aspects of trade like geographical indication items and demands of each country item wise.
Thirdly he stressed the urgent need for a free portal for global marketing for high impact and faster enhancement of exports.
UNISAME Council whilst appreciating Nadia’s and her team’s sincere and dedicated efforts requested them to coordinate with Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) to promote import substitution and innovative industries.
