TRADEKEY ON BEHEST OF UNISAME OFFERS SMART EXPERT ONLINE SERVICES TO SMEs

Apr 16, 2015 |
The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) and TradeKey the second largest international portal with head office in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia decided to help the SMEs grow by facilitating the sector to have strong exposure globally and give them opportunities by global sharing through smart expert internet services

President UNISAME welcomed the officials of TradeKey and submitted that the SMEs need online exhibitions for their goods, they need online international payment gateway and an SME export house. He reiterated that unless these facilities are provided to the sector it will not be in a position to meet the challenges.

He said while our neighbours are advocating ‘make in India’ and promoting the SME sector vigorously, we are not providing the basic requirements. Not only India but we can learn from Turkey, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and many other countries who have full fledged SME ministries. We have failed to even strengthen Small Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA). He lamented that despite several request submitted to the government these requirements have not been met and for this reason UNISAME decided to seek help from private sector. He said strangely our proposals and suggestions are being welcomed by the international forums but at home they are given a deaf ear.
